Change Data Capture (CDC)

Description

This is a lecture from the Cockroach University course “Event-Driven Architecture with Java”. In this lecture, we introduce CockroachDB’s Change Data Capture feature (or CDC). We will discuss the two types of Change Data Capture (Core feeds and Enterprise feeds). We will show how to enable Enterprise CDC for your database, and how to create a simple feed that pushes data into a Kafka sink.
